We know how much Okotoks means to you, so we would like to invite you to become an Okotoks Optimist member!
Optimist International is a worldwide organization built of approximately 2,500 service clubs all over the world. Their mission statement is to bring out the best in YOUTH, the COMMUNITY and in YOURSELF.
Optimist members work together to provide fun and engaging fundraising events, youth programs, assistance, and leadership possibilities to their community and in doing so also build lifelong friendships within the service club.
Become a member
Members participate in community service programs that are dedicated to bringing out the best in kids. The fee for joining is $100 CAD/year. Members are encouraged to attend monthly meetings and help out with events the best they can.
With guidance and support from the Okotoks Optimist Club, the Kids 4 Kids Junior Optimist Club completes fun projects and activities to provide for community organizations. For the low cost of $20 annually, Junior members are provided the opportunity to learn the importance of volunteerism, teamwork, communication, self esteem and good citizenship.
